Why is only emergency dental treatment possible per Today? All dentists are required to be prepared for emergency treatment. This is important in order to relieve the burden so that these patients do not visit the hospital/emergency room and burden them unnecessarily. Due to the somewhat unclear infection situation, it was decided to put all unnecessary treatment on hold. This is to limit 1:1 meetings between people until the situation is somewhat more clarified regarding infection and the extent of the infection. Furthermore, there has been a large deficit in infection control equipment in Norway. And measures were taken to limit the use of this to where it is needed most. Many dentists have therefore made their infection prevention equipment available to remedy the acute shortage.

What treatments are carried out at your place now?As of today, only urgent treatment is carried out that cannot wait. This means severe pain, swelling/infections and acute injuries. Filling edges, lost fillings without pain, regular examination etc, must wait. We follow the authorities' guidelines and stand 100% behind the measures that will limit/delay the development of the virus in Norway. From 20 April, it has been signaled that the orders will be softened. Therefore, please contact us if you would like to make an appointment after the 20th. We will get back to you with more information when this is available from FHI.

What do I do if I have symptoms or am confirmed to be infected? Then you must contact us by telephone. YOU SHOULD NOT COME TO THE CLINIC!! A separate infection clinic has been set up for those who are infected, or suspected to be infected. We will arrange an appointment for you at this clinic, but you must first contact us by phone and be put in touch with the infectious disease clinic. All acute patients will therefore receive help with their teeth, including those who are known to be infected.

How do I get in touch with you?We are available by phone every day. You can contact us on 69 31 51 00 between 08.00 - 16.00. If we are busy and cannot answer you immediately, we will call you back. The clinic will be closed for "drop in" visit. To get in, you must already have an appointment. This has been done to have control over who and when they attend the clinic. If you have made an appointment, we want you to wait in the car until we make contact. This is to avoid an unnecessary stay at the clinic. You will receive more detailed information ahead of the lesson.
